My mom bought a necklace when she was younger and now my sister has it. Both my mom and I like it a lot, but never get to borrow it because she lives 3 hours away.
So I want to make a replica of it. The pendant looks a little like
this. Pretty much an oval cut stone with a brass filigree setting that holds it. The setting has four little feet that hold the stone in, and the pendant measures about 1" by 1 1/2".
Right now I'm wanting the setting made, and probably just cut glass for the stone. Eventually I would want a real amethyst. I'm guessing the setting can be made from a mold of the original, and the stone is a basic oval cut.
I would be able to provide pictures for pricing if needed. And the original for replicating - though it can't be damaged. There is a possibility that the original is made by Avon or the like. I don't know what the legal standing is on recreating something a company made 30 years ago.
