if i could capture people like that; if i could just contribute something like that to this, even if only a few people saw it and appreciated it, or hated it, that would be neat.
brendan and i went to MoMA yesterday and saw the exhibit, and it was wonderful- my favorites were the cases with her journals and things in them.
we saw the Logan Collection, an exhibit about 90's art which had been there for a while i believe? nara, murakami, and hirst- the medicine cabinet and bull's head-- which i'd read about but never seen. crazy shit. parts of the collection are pretty insteresting. at one point brendan was standing under a giant sunflower (it looked as if it was made of wax) and staring up at it. i tried to take a photo, it wouldve been great. but i was promptly informed that i was NOT ALLOWED to do so, by the tiny docent-woman. ah well.
