Madison Wi Trip of Doom!
OK so we had a blast in Madison, as soon as we got there ashanden and doa_stabbedsoul took us out to all the college bars, reminded me alot of Austin Tx on state street, one of the bars we went to was like a house with several rooms and ppl drinking in all of them, that place was kind of surreal and reminded me of the house parties of Mnpls in the early nineties, had alot of fun with doa_stabbedsoul and her BF, who seemed to be a very kewl guy, after we had made our rounds and gotten thouroughly trashed, we went to Club Inferno, met a bunch of ppl, did our usual drunken craziness, had some minor drama and crashed. The next day ashanden had to do some flyering on state street so we did the tourist thing and hit the Union, drank some by the lake, ate at some wonderful places (Chipotle) browsed a vinyl shop,(got earth ad for 5 bucks) and hit Club Inferno again, this time not as drunk, they played my silly swoonie requests, cause I actually wanted to dance, mixed with a fair share of stompy stompy for the regulars, the rest of the weekend is sort of a blur, but I know we did naughty things with beautiful ppl and it was a much needed vacation for the both of us...I realized that Im still mourning, but that life goes on :) Cant wait to move back to LALA land now, Madison scene so reminded me of home. ashanden was an excellent host, and showed us pretty much all of Madison we wanted to see, indulged our psychotic nature and still actually seemed like he still liked us after it was all over. Lots of props to the Madison peeps for being so nice, we felt at home there, was a great trip XD
