I STRONGLY recommend Sainte Chapelle. While Notre Dame is beautiful to look at from the outside, you can really see the architectual detail just as well from a boat ride as you can from the island. The inside of Sainte Chapelle though is just beyond belief and is not nearly as publisized as it should be. I know that when I went to see it, I had to go through a metal detector because the police station is in the (former) palace part of the complex but it is just the most beautiful building I've ever seen. the second floor is wall to wall stained glass. Totally unbelievable. Umm, btw - I LOVE PARIS! Can you tell? :)

Paris is pretty cool yes...

but the Cathedrals of Amiens and Reims are exquisit...
