Yeah, figured I would put it here too...
Alright, this is something that happened a few nights ago at work. Wasn’t really a complete suckage, more it just dumfounded me. First of all, I work at the pharmacy America trusts… While we get plenty of nasty customers, this was the first one that truly had me so astonished that I just didn’t know what to do.
I was working on some facing about an hour before we closed. While I was working on the cough/cold area, a lady walked up, looking completely confused. Being a good little slave, I did my duty, and asked her if I could help find anything. Yeah, that’s when things got weird…
Me: …me…
CW: Confused woman
CWH: Confused woman’s husband
Me: Hi, how are you doing tonight? Can I help you find anything?
CW: Yeah, I have a cold, and I’m looking for euthanasia.
Me: …you’re looking for what?!
CW: Euthenasia.
Me: Uh… *dumbfounded silence* your looking for what product?!
CW: Euthenasia.
Me: Um… euthanasia isn’t a product… uh, its like when they help you die, like assisted killing…
CW: So your not going to help me find euthanasia?! Fine, I’m telling my husband. *turning down an aisle, and yelling loudly* Honey! Honey, the man won’t help me with euthanasia!
CWH: *Yelling back from down the aisle* Echinacea! Your looking for Echinacea with Goldseal! Euthanasia is when they kill you!
The whole time that this went on, all I could think of was: OMG, that must be some nasty cold! Thank god for her husband, had the feeling it would have been a long long argument! When he yelled back, I almost yelled to him “THANK YOU!” Ah well, was able to amuse myself for several days after with tales of her stupidity!
