This reminds me that I was recently on an EPIC QUEST to find out about turtle penises. And if they're retractable. The quest was spurred by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fandom summary at crack_van, and how there is porn but the turtles have no visible genitalia. (Perhaps they are like Centauri, with tentacles hidden beneath their shell?) Sadly, my quest for turtle penis information was a failure. There is not much out there. Why aren't people more interested in turtle sex??? Dinosaurs get all the play.
i prefer my sex human. or at least, not actively involving weird sex organs (i used to lurk in DS9 fandom a bit, and from time to time i would be terrified by descriptions of cardassian genitals.)
Oh I'm TOTALLY WITH YOU about the Cardassian genitalia. That's the only reason I haven't falled headfirst into Garak/Bashir. (The *ridges*.) This is just academic curiousity though.
yeah, i really like their dynamic, and i'm happy for them to proceed with the sexing up to a a point. that point being the appearance of weirdy alien penises and loving descriptions of the same! just, you know, pretend they're more or less like human ones, ffs! after all, their hands look similar. extrapolate to other appendages please!

Bashir is my favorite character and I like Garak an awful lot but. Yes I will pretend he has a human penis. Except gray b/c their palms are gray. OR MAYBE CERULEAN. Who knows? But I was totally fine with the Star Trek gayboy Cardassian sex scene, so maybe I just haven't found the right Bashir/Garak porn for me.
