you know, i just realised i haven't read the actual panel description. but the words are from the first telephone call. which means that is MIGHT be a panel about how new communications technology changes fandom, and not, as i had assumed, some all-possible-versions holmes/watson goodness. not sure i want to know if i am wrong!
