first birthday with a dead dad tomorrow. so i have taken thursday off work, and tonight i am sitting in my living room drinking malbec, eating home-made rice pudding, and rummaging about in the cath kidston website for a present for my wee sister (birthday three days after mine). too many overpriced oilcloth items with floral patterns on them,

it would be a relaxing pastime! (and you could take it to cons and it would be a LOT less traumatising than fannish pictionary...)

I...uh. It's not good TV and the plots make next to no sense, but I adore it with an unholy passion. Which means I'm really bad at judging whether anyone else will like it.

(If you do decide to try it out, the first half of season 3 was a giant ball of poo, imo, but it gets better again.)
