finally watched thor
and oh my, isn't loki the most adorable-faced evil, scheming adopted brother with daddy issues ever? yes, yes he is! tumblr's explosion of hiddleston makes even more sense now.
later, we must speak of my shameful forays into marvel (sort of movieverseish) fiction. i have so MANY problems with movie iron man and the iron man movies. i felt sort of dirty watching captain america (*scrubs at the simplistic american patriotism that got on me*) - and yet! i seem to be reading the steve/tony. stop being adorable, fanfic steve! stop being the most snarky, arrogant, annoying and somewhat fucked up man ever, fanfic tony (because i am really really easy for that)! and marvel, please stop being so confusing that i have to resort to wikipedia and the encyclopedia of kanzenhanzai* to understand stuff. (including about clint barton - dear comics, "the high, hard shaft"? reallllly? ehehe. er, fic!clint is kind of a dick in the stuff i've read so far - but in a way that makes me really rather like him. if his comics characterisation is along those lines, we may get along...)

i may also need me some iron man/war machine, based i must admit almost entirely on really liking the bits of rhodey in the fic i am reading.
