Okay, I meant to ask. IS the series ripping of the score of the movie or is it, like, a Sherlock Holmes thing. That I am not aware of or something.

my opinion is that it's just.. the kind of music you get on bbc holmes productions? (unhelpful, sorry!)

I believe the tv music was written before the film, for the pilot that was never aired.

Still, it's weird. I can't imagine that one is ripping off the other, which way around it may be. But it doesn't seem to be, like, classic Holmes music? Strange.
