pop-philosophy - i should know this stuff will annoy me! (full disclosure: i am not, and have never pretended to be, a philosopher. i did share a flat with a philosophy student once, but our since conversations tended to be about such profound issues as who's turn it was to go to the off-licence and the the exact size of the slug that invaded the kitchen the night before, i fear i have no special insight.) dear ethics guy in chapter 7 of watchmen & philosophy -
Rorschach, being single-minded in his pursuit of justice (or his sense of it, at least), has no concern for what might happen if he reveals Veidt's conspiracy.
...or he might have concerns but feel consider that they're not an admissible part of the rorschach decision-making process. i just think this is an important distinction!
we have reached the *is feeling shirty on behalf of a fictional character* stage already? all is lost. and i really do need some icons!
also, i have owned this book for an hour. /u\
