FOCUS Pre-Optometry Club at SDSU is holding an eye-glasses drive to collect glasses to donate to the Lions club of San Diego. We are hoping to help eliminate preventable blindness within our community. Give back this season by giving one of the most amazing gifts-Sight! Yes, I want my lj friends to participate. If you or your parents have any old pairs of glasses laying around the house please send them my way. Of course you would have to pay for shipping to California. If this is too much, please contact your local lions club (they are all over the US and Canada) and donate your glasses to them! Your donation would make the biggest difference in someone's life. I would need the glasses by December 12th, so if your interested in donating please leave a comment with your email and I will give you the address of where to send them to.
I'm excited because this drive is my little baby! So I want it to be a success and I want to create the biggest impact I can. I'll update you guys about how many glasses we collected and were able to donate!
