so once apon a time there were two girls that lived down the street from each other. they were inseperable. they jumped on the trampoline and off of the shed into the snow by day, and played video games and watched horror flicks by night. they watched sappy made for tv movies on lifetime, and had 5 hour conversations about anything and everything. they sat on the front porch for ten minutes walking away with the feeling of a 5 hour conversation. they went trick or treating and ran around the block hugging trees and playing truth or dare. they dreamed of running away from suburbia and making something of themselves instead of the routine mom-job that every girl has quickly fallen into. they gave each other lingirie for the others birthdays. they woke each other up at four in the morning to watch the stars in the park. they pitched a tent in the living room and lived like wilderness women. they turned into young women with each other. they each assured the other that no one's family is as functional as it looks. they were weird, quirky, and a little bit insane. but they worked. and they promised they'd be friends forever. that they'd never forget the other.
