i hate politicians.
but even more, i hate when people decide not to vote for one because of stupid reasons.
if you like obama more because you like what he has to say, agree with his platform, think he would do the best job, AWESOME!
I think he would be a very capable leader, i just think hillary is more capable. anyways, thats not the point.
the point is, i have heard three WOMEN and one man that i love (who is ignorant even though i love him) tell me that they dont think now is the time for a woman president for whatever reason (they'd like men to stay in power, we're not ready for a woman, other countries wouldn't take us seriously (???)).
well i ask anyone who feels this way, if you don't think a woman should be in office, why should we even have right to vote? why should we have careers? why should we do anything in society but make the babies and the food like we did just a short hundred years ago?
if you aren't willing to accept that women are just as capable of holding positions of power, then you aren't willing to accept that women deserve equal rights under the law and should have the same role in society as men.
this mindset has to end. and if not now, when??
