Band stuff
Hopefully we'll be doing a photo shoot next week for some new promo pics because the old ones are a bit outdated and aren't that great anyway. We're also getting some time in a recording studio pretty soon to do a new demo that actually has me playing on it because the old demo is about 3 bass players ago and I've been in the band over a year so god knows how old it is. In other semi-band-related news, apparently Sim and Dee who were the reason I've been boycotting the Rising Sun (the pub I've been drinking in for the last 5 or 6 years) have been sacked or they quit or something. I don't know the details yet but I'm very happy about it because they were always slagging off my band despite it being Dee's fault we sounded bad at the Rising Sun because he was doing the sound and anyway his band attracted a crowd of about 2 people other than me and Rob who were just there because it was somewhere to go to drink when i saw them play there so they are infinately shitter. Sim was generally a nice person and would have been ok if it wasn't for the fact she took Dee's side in arguments because she's his girlfriend, but as long as Dee doesn't work there I'm happy to drink there again.
