This is lovely. Cooper's thoughts and voice are perfect. Short and to the point, this fic gives substance to all the wonderful Audrey/Cooper subtext. I especially liked the personification of Temptation into an entity with its own subtle power. Very, very cool.

I enjoyed this fic and hope to see more from you in the future. Thank you for posting this.

Aw, thanks! I was a bit inspired by Dickens and all his personification of Hunger and Death and whatnot, 'cause we just finished reading A Tale of Two Cities. Personification is some fun stuff.

Thanks so much for the comment! Feedback makes this writer very happy indeed. I have another half-formed image floating around in my mind, but there's not much in the way of an idea (let alone plot) attached to it... I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it goes anywhere.

PS- I don't want to be a bother, but I don't suppose you've found that picture from the header yet, have you?

Personification is definitely cool, and your story, in particular, made Temptation seem like almost a mythic entity, which really worked. I hope that you'll develop your new idea into a story soon.
