As expected, kathrynjaneway went against my advice regarding our recently acquired Borg drone. I fully comprehend her reasons, and I would not have anticipated any other action from her, but I still have concerns regarding the future of "One", as the drone has named himself. He has the Doctor's mobile emitter embedded in his cerebral cortex, rendering him several centuries more advanced than the Collective. If he was ever assimilated into the Hive mind, the Borg would become far more powerful than they are today.
Logic dictates that would be less than desirable.
seven_of_nine informs me that One is curious about the Borg, his "family". She expressed her concerns that he might not be able to resist the Collective, that he will be tempted to seek them out himself. It is possible that will be the case, but he does seem to adjust well to Voyager. However, that doesn't change the fact that the Borg, were they aware of his existence, would be very interested indeed.
On a different note, chakotay seems to believe I am the correct person to assist him in trying to ease the interaction between seven_of_nine and Lieutenant Torres (paristorres). As I am sure he is aware of, I do not concern myself with interpersonal communication that doesn't involve any security aspect.
Even if I were not above such actions, it would hardly be logical to attempt something so implausible.
