Well, here we go.

Right, so here I am at work again.
I forgot to bring my earphone-cord-extender though, which means if I want music I've got to practically hug the back of my computer.  No thanks.  Makes for quite a bit more boredom though, and I'll probably get fed up by the end of the day and just flip the whole thing around.
Trying to track down a bug in the exam scheduling advanced search function, and it's not going prettily.  I've got it all fixed but for one condition where you search past the end of the search range and one of the days you're searching for has no available rooms yet it still makes like there were some and asks if you want to continue.  It's not that big of a deal but I'm somewhat of a perfectionist about these things.  It's really the user's fault and I warn them that they've gone out of the range that they have set, and that they should maybe adjust their search range to avoid seeing such confirmation messages, but whatever.
So yeah, programming is fun.  Actually I hate visual basic.
Maybe I wouldn't if it was .NET like I was using and not version 6 which is so much uglier and shittier.
But enough of the nerdness.
Fun weekend, filled with such class:  Friday was being sweet with Robyn, not really doing anything but enjoying it anyway, plus we went to Café Diem which is a nice place, and it was Nancy's last shift ever there so I didn't have to pity her catering to the tourists until 12:00 at night.  That's what you get if you open a cafe on Victoria Row that serves pleasing looking drinks though.
Speaking of which [SEGUE ATTACK], Saturday was drinking in such style with Kelly [larkin-conway] gotta add that specifier.  We went to the 42 Street Lounge which... holy crap.
Kelly's description:  "If I ever need to seduce someone I'm taking them here."
Me:  "Definitely."
Kelly:  "I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up together now."
Me:  "I would."
Kelly:  "I would too, actually."
The Maitre'D Guy:  Most hilarious little laugh/titter ever.  Kind of like fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh.
By the way Kelly, I know how I could've made him laugh now:  "You don't think this tie clashes, do you?"
Yeah, I had a severely powerful tie, much more powerful than those red-leather and zip-on black-leather ones.  Plus tied with a full windsor knot, the power knot.  Because I took it rolled up in my pocket in case I wasn't classy enough.  And we definitely weren't.
Anyway, if you're looking to feel rich and in vogue, go have martinis or cocktails at the 42 Street Lounge.
And also later class it up with beer and nachos at the Gahan House.
Well, if you ever need a drinking buddy - I'll drink with ya.  And if you ever need a shoulder to cry on - I'll drink with ya.  I guess what I'm trying to say is... I love to drink.
Sweet, now it works except if the only day you select to search for is never open, like a Sunday.
Getting there...  Damn infinite loops.
Right so apparently tonight is supposed to be something with Aileen and Robyn.  It'd better go through!  YOU HEAR ME FATE?!
Right, my computer is now being turned over to interview-ees.
