(no subject)
According to my main page, it's been 7 weeks since I updated. So what's happened?
Let's see. We got back from India just fine. Thad and Marianna saw some tigers. I can't remember if they had or not when I posted last. Bombay was good. Thad and I had suits tailor-made, and we look good-a hell in them. Thad got a little sick on our last day, but not too bad. There are pictures on facebook if you haven't seen them.
McKay and Denise's wedding was fun. Especially the after party.
I had LASIK done two weeks ago. It's pretty awesome. My eyes still have a little bit of blood in them, but they're clearing up quite nicely. I love not worrying about glasses or contacts anymore.
I was in Santa Monica for the first part of this week for a conference for work. I enjoyed myself, the conference wasn't too bad, I met some fun Puerto Ricans. I also got to study on the beach. I'm not sure I could live in LA, though.
Speaking of studying, I am so ready for the CFA to be over! The test is on June 7, and I have really got to buckle down to get ready for Level 2. We'll see how it goes.
Right now, I'm "listening" to a conference call that's been going on for 2.75 hours. That's just ridiculous, in case you weren't aware.
I can hear the trains drive by outside my window. One day, I was walking to my car after work, not really paying attention. I was then startled by a train horn. The conductor have me a wave when I looked around trying to figure out what was going on. I think he thought he was pretty funny.
