We have a tradition in my family of having to say something we're thankful for before opening a present at Christmas. This year, we were all thankful that the results of Dad's removal of cancerous area was excellent. There was no cancer in the margins of the area they removed, so we are in the clear as far as more cancer goes.
But he does have an awesome scar on his chest.
