Favorite Book: i love the mediator series.
How did you hear about this community? i ran across it in a search.
What is your heart’s strongest desire? this summer i worked at the summer camp i'd been going to for about 6 years. then, i was just the counselors' charges. this year i was their friend. there were twelve of them, from all over the world, and they were the most amazing people i've ever encountered. we got so close, and they taught me things i'll never forget. we had an amazing summer and unfortunatly it had to end. and unfortunatly i had to say goodbye, forever. there is such a small chance that i'll see any of them ever again. and my heart's strongest desire is to just spend one more day with any them.
What is your opinion on:
Lying: people lie, people always will lie, it's how life is. small lies to preserve the feelings of friends and family are honorable and they are okay. but lies to get someone in trouble or to get rumors spread i definitley don't agree with.
Cheating: cheating is very hurtful, and unfair. there's really no other way i could describe it.
Abortion: i don't have too much of a problem with it. if the mother is in danger then i find it okay. otherwise, the mother should have to live with her mistake, if that's what it is. i do feel abortion is killing, but only under those circumstances.
Gay Relationships: i don't have any problems with that. if two people are in love, why shouldn't they be together? i hate how gay people are shut out and degraded just because of their sexuality. they have just as much right as straight people do to have a relationship.
Strip Clubs: i think they are berating and rather gross. i wouldn't go to one, and if my boyfriend went to one (which he wouldn't) i would feel really disgusted. i can't put into words what i think about them.
War: i'm very much against the war, but i do support our boys and girls fighting with every ounce of my heart. i know so many people over there, and it's a constant worry for me. i don't see how killing so many people is going to solve anything. i feel for the poor war refugees over in iraq, afghanistan, wherever...imagine if they were fighting here?
Drugs: i despise drugs of any kind, including cigarettes. i think they are the most disgusting things in the world. they ruin the lives of the people who do them, and the lives of the people around them. too many people in this world are killed not by war, not by natural causes, but drugs. it's horrible.
