All these clothes im buying have something in common;
they are all bought for an end.
The bright ones are an end to winter
The short ones are for an end to spring.
The dresses are bought for the end of high school,
and the shoes are just bought the cover the ends of my body.
And these black ones, the ones i dread the most, are used to signify the end of a life.
And the joy I usually experience when shopping was gone today-the end of a life seems just a little more important than the end of a sale.
I know that your life was long and your suffering was great,
but one day we all knew it would come to an end.
So now you can begin a new life with the ones you love,
and so many things will be brought to an end, but i know the only thing you will want to end is the endless flow of tears, like you did so long ago.
Rest in peace Gramma.
