Why do I care so much if Stephen says I like Ethan? Do I like Ethan? I mean, I know I like him, but do I like him? There was just that one night before I got kidnapped, and it's not like we discussed the matter a whole lot... And even if I do, why should I care if Stephen knows? He's my friend.

Cuz you know you'll never hear the end of it. And you know you don't want to end up like Stephen and Michael. You don't want to lose what you have with Ethan if what you could have doesn't work out...
