I arrived at work today fifteen minutes before I was supposed to start my shift. After listening to a few lectures, a few new rules, and a few other tidbits -- all of which began to sound exactly the same -- I realized that the drive to work and the drive back home were the best things about the job, even if I do happen to have three trucks lined up in front of me the entire time or if it's pouring down rain.
Still, even with that quality time for myself, I can't have all that time taken away for me for... something that I don't want to do.
I usually don't keep New Year's resolutions, but I will be doing something different this summer. I know I will.
