A bad, bad day to be an Agnostic/Atheist
As usual when Crimson is at Trans, she’s at the bar, but this time, things are a little different. The small refrigerator underneath the bar has been pulled out, the door wide open, and Crimson is shoving bottles into a wine box. Closer inspection will reveal that the refrigerator is still plugged in, but that there is no light despite the door being open.
Warm beer is something Crimson can’t stand and once she has filled the box full of beer, she carries the rather heavy box over to the kitchen door. Pushing the kitchen door open with her hip, she notices the light is off and sticks out her elbow, trying to flip the switch up. After a couple of tries, she succeeds, but the bulb burns out almost immediately in a bright flash, right when she is looking up at the bulb. Temporarily blinded, she makes the mistake of moving forward anyway and trips over her own feet. The box falls to the ground with a large crash. Crimson steps over the box of beer and swears when she slips in the puddle of beer forming around the box and falls down. She can feel the beer soaking into her jeans and is really starting to get irritated. Getting back onto her feet, she opens the refrigerator, which is still working (for the moment). Using the light from the refrigerator, she can see she made quite a bit of a mess, which she doesn’t feel like cleaning up.
This is a hotel. It really should have a maintenance staff to clean and fix things. With my luck so far, I’d probably hang myself if I tried to change that light bulb. In a foul mood, she leaves the kitchen, planning to head up to her room to change into something drier and not smelling of hops and barley.
((Crimson has been one of the ones smited by Hermes. This will affect the hotel as well. As noted in the link above (which you should definitely read if you want to participate), the smiting will not affect everyone, so if you do not want to participate, you do not have to. Either Nexus, LOL your characters so that they’re not actually in Trans during the time its affected or have them be in a spot in the hotel that is far away from the affected areas (it’s a very big place that is constantly changing and expanding and whatnot) or have some other solution to the hotel’s problems not affecting them.))
