Ciao! Yippess, im back here in Singapore. :P Missing italy just a little, but well i had lots of fun. It was a trip full of fun, excitement and rewards. Hahahha lots of chocolates and goodies. Yum :9 Enjoyed myself throughly. This trip has really made me get to know more about the choir, considering the fact that i'm new there. New friendships were made. Hahaha, i made lots of gay friends(haha), animal clan! Whee, pure funness (sp?)
Day 01: Arrived at changi aiport. Said our goodbyes to our family and friends. Thanks az for the cute lil' peg thing! -hugs- Kendra and I cried, the tears just came down, was sobbing my way through to the gate. )': So, we departed off for Amsterdam. Anyways, i sat ALONE, yes ALONE with some angmoh couple and their baby. ): Charmaine, Charlotte was next to me at the other side. Tsk. ): Anyways the ride there was okay, they were showing Love actually! <333
Day 02: ARRIVED AT ITALY! It wasn't really that cold, bearable. We then went for erm.. lunch. Ate some nice stuff: spaghetti, fish(we had to finish the icky veggies) and... ICE CREAM! -rejoices- Then we had our orientation tour round the Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral which looked awesome! Then basically touring around, then off to our Hotel Portici! Felicia, Kendra and I got an apartment, a double floored one. Haha, felicia actually CRIED. Because it was too scary. LOL. I <33 our room, although yeah, it's kinda eerie. then plonk, we slept. zzZZzzz
Day 03: Acoustic Rehearsal at the Palacongressi, we took a walk there. OUr rehearsal wasntthat great, Ms lim was quite pissed. ): Then we had the parading of the choirs. It was fun, just walking around, singing some cheers and stuff and doing our presidential wave to the crowd. Oh ya, this slovenia choir behind us were laughing at our court shoes! >.< Mel and I were so pissed. GRR. Get a life!!
Day 04: COMPETITION! -faints- Yes, the day of the competition. We had practice early in the morning. Scraped through the songs, was getting nervous as the time past. We make-up, got into our gowns and off we went. We went sharp! But, the feeling was really really great, at least it was to me when we did cai diao and we stomped at the very end. Every one was like, 'wow' shocked. It really felt good. (:
Day 05: Had some free shopping time, shopped around Riva deL Garda, wonderful place. quiet and peaceful (: Heard some choirs, nearly fell asleep.. ZZzzZZ.
Day 06: JUDGEMENT DAY. The results are out, we got a silver. Dont want to say much here. Im quite okay with it, i mean at least most of us had tried our very best. The seniors were crying. -sigh-
Day 07: Off we went to Venice, had to say Bye to Hotel portici -sob- Had a wonderful tour around Venice and St Mark's square.
Day 08: Left the other hotel again, we went to Padova had an orientation tour then off we went to Verona. We went to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet's house. Hahaha, i was telling Kendra and the rest that it;s actually Romeo and Fawnfawn's house. Hee, oh and there;s this statue of Juliet! If u touch her breast, you'll be happy in love. <33 hahaha.
Day 09: Checked out of hotel, had a boat ride to Lake Como, was raining so didnt see much. Then we took our plane back home, sat next to Charmaine, Charlotte and Yuyao. Yay, no more angmohs (: We were busy talking about something.. hahaha right? -winks- twinkletwinklelittlestar..
Well, this trip has at last come to an end. Didnt really got much stuff, everything was so pricey. But still managed to get some stuff for my family and classmates (: Cant wait to go to school tomorrow. Dropped by JC's house to get my worksheets and what's the first thing i saw..?
A ZERO BIG ZERO ON MY MATHS SPRING TEST !@#$%^ and i failed my gong han, 8/20. OMG, MY LIFE'S IN BIG SHIT NOW. Luckily this are all not major exams or i'm so going to kill myself. DANG. Okay, need to get my beauty sleep, my skin's all scaly! So, CIAO!
