fangirling in 2010. ♥ a girl's how-to guide.
This year wasn't just about certain things that happened, but also things that I recently discovered or finally got around to fangirling with the rest of you who are like - leagues - ahead of me. But, I will catch up to you - one show, one ship, one movie, and one book at a time. Oh yes, I will. lol. Anyway, these are just a few my favorite things from this year (like I said before) that either happened or I just discovered and kinda fangirled the hell out of. Enjoy. :)
pretty people are pretty.
My boys and girls have been super superbly awesome this year AND amazingly hot, too. And I have loved them all, with no resevations.

(1) Robert Pattinson ;; Tyler Roth ♥ (2) Penn Badgely ;; Dan Humphrey ♥ (3) Daniel Radcliffe ;; Harry Potter
(4) Antonia Thomas ;; Alisha ♥ (5) Maggie Q ;; Nikita ♥ (6) Cassidy Freeman ;; Tess Mercer
the honorables.
- OMFG! Robert Pattinson, you nutty frakker. He sort of wormed his way into my heart as Tyler Routh in Remember Me and made me love him. Seriously, this character and the story he had to tell, was fantastic. Plus Robert can really act. NO. REALLY, HE CAN!
- Penn Badgely kind of got amazingly hot this year. That sort of came out of nowhere, but I am loving Dan Humphrey in ways I never thought imaginable and I started shipping Dan/Blair pretty hardcore. Seriously, I've spent hours pouring over fiction and anything I can get my hands on that has them written all over it. I love these two. ♥
- My how this boy has grown up over the years and has grown quite handsome too. I will forever love Harry Potter and this magnificent boy for portraying him so bloody well fantastic.
- Because Simon thinks she's pretty and she liked it and because future!Simon came back from the future to tell her that they will be together. Enough said! ♥
- OMG! This woman is incredibly superbly hotHOThot. Srsly. Nikita is one fierce bitch. I'll just let her speak for herself.
- Seriously, Tess Mercer is freaking EPIC. And Cassidy Freeman is incredibly gorgeous. I love the amount of time and depth the SV writer's have given this character. What Cassidy does for the show is just super fabulous and fun to watch.
teevee + pretty people.
Nina Dobrev is absolutely incredibly stunning in both of her roles portraying Elena Gilbert and Katherine. She has amazing chemistry with ALL of her cast mates. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow along with her characters and I think it can only get better from here. Plus, she's been simply too adorable in all of her interactions with the rest of cast of TVD, most especially her and Ian. I love how she talks about playing pranks on the boys, when they're all on set. Too cute for words. She and Ian almost make me want to rl-ship them, even though they're totally not together, it's not hard to see that they have amazing chemistry off-screen that translates well on screen together and are a part of the reason (albiet small reason - tiny reason really) I ship Damon/Elena so much.
Ian on Damon&Elena: Damon waited 145 years for Katherine who wasn’t worth his love. What he didn’t know was he waited 145 years to find his true love Elena BECAUSE she is the one who gave him a chance, BECAUSE in spite of everything she saw something in him worth saving.
Ian is fantastic on my screen in any role he chooses, whether it be Boone from Lost or currently Damon from TVD. I am always happy to watch him do his thing and fangirl like craaaazy. He's super ridiculously talented not to mention v. pretty to look at too. ♥
NGL. Part of me wants to go "na na na na na na," at the Stefan/Elena shippers, but I won't. I'll just be over here cheesin' in my little corner of the world BECAUSE THAT came directly from Ian himself. Boo-yeah! Boy ships it with, it's so obvious. lol. And why shouldn't he when his co-star is as hot as Nina is.
Lea Michele is A--MAZING in a word. No. No, really she is. Incedibly talented and beautiful and plays my beloved Rachel Berry (a role that was written specifically for her btw) in case ya'll didn't already know that. I can hardly sentence properly when I'm trying to talk about how awesome she is, because my brain just goes "omg. iloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyou," over and over. She reminds me so much of Idina Menzel and anyone who knows me can tell you my LOVE for her knows absolutely no bounds. So, when she played opossite her as the daughter she gave up for adoption and actually got to sing with her in two different episodes, my brain went bonkers. I swear, I think I traumatized neighbors NINE COUNTIES away. lol.
Matthew on Reid: He's not too similar. [referencing similarities between him and reid.] He's a genius and I'm technically and functionally retarded [laughs].
There are NO WORDS in the English language for how much I LOVE this boy (and his character) to pieces. It's insane, really. Loveable albiet dorky nutjob he is. And incredibly talented, too. This is the sort of boy that I would have loved to have dated in high school, if given the chance which is probably why I love his counter-part so much - one Dr. Spencer Reid - the role he plays on Criminal Minds. Plus, I sort of love that he had no intentions of being an actor, that he just sort of fell into it and went along for the ride. He seems incredibly down to earth as well, which is good when you're talking in terms of Hollywood and them stars. It doesn't matter what he does really, because he'll always be the best part of it and I'm totally fine with that.
How much do I love Candice Accola?! TOO MUCH. I'll admit early on in the show I'd made a remark saying that I felt like the show would have been better off casting her as Elena and Nina as Caroline in reverse since it would be more in line with the books (as far as personalities and characteristics went at that point) - BUT NOW - one and a half season's later I WOULD NOT EVER MAKE THAT REMARK AGAIN. I think what Candice Accola brings to this role is simply superbly awesome. She is doing such a fantastic job making Caroline so relatable, that you just can't help but want her to get what she wants because you know she deserves it.
I freely admit that Lost was a show that I was all prepared to hate - that I sort of wanted to hate - but then a couple of summer's ago I caught up with it and I FELL IN LOVE HARD AND KEPT FALLING. Shallow is me, I went into the show knowing that I would instinctively love the character of Jack Shepherd because of my inane and immense love for Matthew Fox (who will forever be immortalized as Charlie Salinger to me) and I was not disappointed. This man how SO V. MUCH TALENT that it's epicly ridiculous. Really. It is. And it's been amazing to watch him in any role that he's chosen to take on, most especially my beloved Jack Shepherd.
Anna Torv is nothing if not magnificent in her role as Olivia Dunham. This woman is powerhouse fierce, enough said! And frakking gorgeous, too. ♥ I loved her from the moment she popped up in Mistresses and was incredibly excited to hear she would be portraying Olivia on Fringe as I knew she was a brilliantly fantastic actress that could totally hold her own.
Oh yes, my television is a happy place now that I have Joshua Jackson back on it. Peter is definitely one of my favorite character's that love lots. He makes Thursday night a better place to be.
Karen is absolutely adorable and I love her to bits and pieces, for the quirky-ness she brings to her character, for the way that Amy's not afraid to stand up to the Doctor, for the way that she cares fiercly and deeply about the people she surrounds herself with, and just because. Because, she makes loving Amy Pond so damn easy.
Oh my god, I have ridiculous amounts of love for this man. Seriously. And it's not just Simon, but the character's that he portrays...first Nick Fallon (for which I have legions of love for and who I originally wanted to put in this slot, but the caps were crappy and there weren't enough of them) and the second of course, Patrick Jane who comes with his own quirks and boat of load of issues to boot. Oh how fun it is to just sit back and watch this man do his thing. ;)
I kind of really adore Kaya and what she brings to her character, lots. She was another one that I finally got around to discovering this year and it was a fun frakked up sort of chaotic ride. She's adorable with her castmates and just just adorable in general. I kinda love her a little bit. End of story. :)
& the characters.
Elena: I don't question why everyone tries so hard to save me. You shouldn't question why I try so hard to save everyone else.
Elena Gilbert is definitely at the top of my favorite character's in 2010. She's incredibly selfish when it comes to the people that she loves at wanting to risk her own neck to save them, she's incredibly confident, but she also has her own insecurities to deal with. She's just basically your average everyday normal girl who gets good grades in school, does her best to try and have a somewhat social life, takes care of her family, and just has to deal with A LOT of supernatural shit. Who wouldn't love that recipe for a character?!
Damon: I just have to say it once, you just need to hear it. I love you, Elena...and it’s because I love you I can’t be selfish with you. Why you can’t know this. I don’t deserve you. But my brother does. God, I wish you didn’t have to forget this...but you do.

Seriously Damon is this incredibly hot, psychotic, maniacle killer with his own brand of vulnerabilities - this savable quality - that he possesses which makes him such an interesting character. In a lot of ways, I think S1 Damon would find it a lot easier to be hated and he'd probably prefer it that way, because it's easier. However, we're getting to see S2 Damon really care about someone - people who mean something to him and he doesn't do this easily or often - he loves Elena (is in love with her) and it's real for him and not just some fantasy or torch he's carried around for years (145 no less) and despite everything both he and Stefan have been through in both their lives (past and present) he loves him as well and would die protecting BOTH OF THEM. This is why I love Damon.
Rachel: My gold stars are a metaphor. For ME being a STAR.
Finn: Are we a part of something special, you and me?
Rachel: Yes.
Finn: I love you.
♥ FINN&RACHEL! I love these two, bunches and bunches. And I know the gif doesn't match the quote, but I just LOVE the smile on her face. SHE GOT HER BOY! Too adorable. "Break a leg." ♥ "I love you."
I LOVE THEM. ♥♥♥
Part of Rachel's charm for me is that she'll never really be the most pretty (even though she is regardless if she knows it or not) or popular girl in school and she has her own brand of insecurities making her come off as self-absorbed and incredibly arrogant, but she's a teenager who knows what she wants and is sticking to her guns about getting it, while still learning to work as a team and not quite outshine the rest of them so much. They're supposed to make mistakes and grow and learn from them, I believe that Rachel is doing this in her own way, which is another reason I love her so much besides the fact that she and Finn were absolutely adorable together this season. Again, stupid show!

angy3101 Dr. Spencer Reid: I don’t believe that intelligence can be accurately quantified, but I do have an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory and can read 20,000 words per minute. [gets a weird look] Yes, I’m a genius.
Things you need to know: (1) I've been having a love affair with this boy for six years, true facts. (2) I have a purple-scarf kink, seriously. I go nuts every time he wears THAT SCARF and anyone who shares same said kink, will KNOW INSTINCTIVELY which one I'm talking about. (3) I love obligatory hand!porn and there's a lot of it and he has the perfect hands for it. - AND - (4) Please stop cutting your hair MGG, I'm afraid you're going to be bald. Not that I wouldn't love you if you were, but it's short enough mm'kay bb! ♥
Caroline: So you're saying now I'm an insecure, neurotic control freak...on crack?
Anim found here:
missforbes@tumblr.com Do you see that stance she's taking after knocking Damon on his ass?! Srsly. It's like, "bring it bitch I can go a couple more rounds." Caroline Forbes is too fierce for her own good sometimes and she's absolutely adorable in all of her bff scenes with Stefan and she's cute with Matt, and amazing with Tyler. Really, there's no one I couldn't ship her with and be totally okay with it.
Mostly, I just want to see her get what she wants and be happy, because she deserves it. She had a point early on, Elena is the girl that everyone picks. Well, it's time Caroline got a little something of her own, as well.
Anim by:
tautline@tumblr.com Stefan: I will not let anything happen to you.
Thing is, I kind of ship these two on paper and in theory, more than anything else. Oh sure, early on in the series (the pilot actually) I wanted Caroline to get the new boy she liked and I wanted Stefan to notice her awesome, but as per usual (since Elena always gets picked) Stefan wanted her instead. (Though I would argue that a little bit of Katherine played into that since it's clear to me that he does still have feelings for her and Elena is her doppleganger pretty much AND he kept her picture for 145 years. That says A LOT to me.) I'm okay with that, because we're now mid-season 2 and they're epic as bff's with a bit of UST un-tapped. I can live with that for a while, until the show finally decides IT NEEDS to go there.
Anim by:
thedaysthatnevercame@tumblr.com Caroline: It’s okay. You’ll fight through it, okay? You’ll fight.
I - just, GUH! aljdfaljfadljf! No sentencing properly for me, because THIS SCENE - THIS SCENE breaks me every.single.time. I NEED THEM NOAW! Caroline was simply amazing in this whole episode (really the best thing about it, since show forgot how to cliffhanger and let Smallville pwn their ass for a minute...WTF?!) and Tyler was incredibly heartbreaking. This was hard and painful to watch, but the broken way he said her name "Caroline," at the end and she assured him that he was alright, that he had made it through definintely made me ship them like whoa! ♥♥♥ Oh my babies, how you're breaking my heart, hurry up and get together already!
Just...
LOOK AT THE PRETTY!!!
Jack Shepherd: It's been six days, and we're all still waiting. Waiting for someone to come. But what if they don't? We have to stop waiting. We need to start figuring things out. A woman died this morning just going for a swim. He tried to save her and now you're about to crucify him. We can't do this. Every man for himself is not going to work. It's time to start organizing. We need to figure out how we're going to survive here. Now I found water. Freshwater, up in the valley. I'll take a party up there at first daylight. If you don't want to come then find another way to contribute! Last week most of us were strangers. But we're all here now. And God knows how long we're going to be here. But if we can't live together-we're gonna die alone.
My god. My Jack, there at the end. Proving always why I have been team!Jack from the v. beginning. MY HERO. And I loved him something fierce. Plus, it kinda helped that Kate finally made her decision. SHE LOVED JACK. And they were so beautiful, for a moment. I can't remember breathing, but I know I did afterwards. But God, was it amazing to watch and Matthew never disappointed once.

browndemy@tumblr.com Olivia Dunham: I understand the facts. I know that she had reams of information about me and about my life and about the people that were close to me. And I understand that if she slipped up that she would have a completely reasonable explanation for it. And I guess to expect you to have seen past that is perhaps asking a bit too much. But when I was over there, I thought about you. And you were just a figment of my imagination. But I held onto you. And it wasn't reasonable, and it wasn't logical, but I did it, so…why didn't you? She wasn't me. How could you not see that? Now she's everywhere. She's in my house, my job, my bed, and I don't want to wear my clothes anymore, and I don't want to live in my apartment, and I don't want to be with you. She's taken everything.
There are no words for how strong and amazing she really is, nobody was coming to save Olivia. She was over there all by herself and she saved herself. And then she lost everything that was important to her, in a way. I can see how she might feel violated. There were days when I thought I could sort of like Peter and Alt!Olivia, but when I look at what that has done to our!Olivia I almost want to vomit. She's hurting right now, a lot. And that makes me hurt with her and it also makes me a little mad at Peter for not knowing because he should have known even if knowing was damn near impossible. This is Olivia we're talking about, SHE HALLUCINATED HIM OVER THERE. He was so v. real to her, he was part of the reason she fought so hard to get back. She was over there, because she went there to save him and then she comes back to this mess. Oh Olivia, I just want to hug you a lot.
Peter Bishop: I'm sorry, Olivia.
Even when he's not there with her, he sort of is there. But he's frakked up so bad now, that I don't know if it can be put back right. Sad thing, he didn't know it. He couldn't have. None of them did. And this whole mess sucks - makes my brain hurt.
Amy: Save him. You always save everyone, always.
Doctor: Not always. I'm sorry.
Amy: Then what is the point of you?
Can we just say what a breath of fresh air Amy is, while traveling with the Doctor? She's definitely one of my favorite companions, so much fun she is. And it's nice that she's not in love with the Doctor, but there is a fondness - a closeness there between them that cannot be denied and she has someone that she's in love with - married too even.
Patrick Jane: If you truly want revenge you have to be hard. You have to be dishonest and devious and cold. You can't let people see what's really in your heart.
Anim by:
intoxuation Of course, Patrick Jane who comes with his own quirks and brand of issues to combat. I finally got around to catching up with this show and I am in complete love with this character. He talks about having his revenge on Red John, but when it comes down to it ultimately (and it will because the show will eventually have to go there and address it) I don't think that what's in his heart will let him. He's changed so much over the course of two and a half season's and he just keeps evolving. Seriously, what Simon Baker does for this character is truly amazing to watch. He makes my television a happier place to be. Oh, and can I just say how much I find it ridiculously hilarious that he's always eating or finding something to eat at the crime scenes which you know has to literally drive Lisbon up the wall. lol.
Effy Stonem: Sometimes I think I was born backwards, you know, come out my mum the wrong way. I hear words come pass me backwards. The people I should love, I hate. And the people I hate...
EFFY♥ Oh, Effy. You were a beautiful mess, but I think you told us so much about yourself in that quote. Skins was another show that I finally got around to obssessing over this year and I practically devoured all four seasons of it within three and a half days and decided the second generation was my favorite.
I was a mess deciding who I wanted to ship Effy with, Freddie or Cook?! I loved them both for her, for different reasons. But, I completely shipped her with Freddie hardcore for the most part of the two seasons and then in the end decided that I sort of wanted it to come back around to her and Cook and maybe it will in the movie.
I think Freddie would be okay with that, since he obviously knows what Cook feels for Effy. He was always there through everything and he loved her, never stopped. It was hard and painful to watch at times and he grew so much. And now that Freddie's dead, I think he may love her a little more but I don't know that she's worthy of that as much as I love her, she has her faults and all but I still think she has a lot more growing to do as a character. She sort of had this way of staying where she was at in the fourth series and not really moving too much.
That Effy, she is a force.
pretty people who love pretty people.
(1) Clark & Lois (2) Simon & Alisha (3) Damon & Elena (4) Peter & Olivia (5) House & Cuddy
- Let's be honest in any 'verse I'm going to LOVE THESE TWO so v. much. Smallville's version has eaten up about six years of my life and has given us a different way of looking at them, but I cannot deny that LnC's version also has a special place in my heart. They were the Lois and Clark of my childhood, I lived and breathed them like the air I breathe back in the '90's. But at the end of the day, what Tom and Erica have brought to their version of this dymanic duo is what has kept me watching and hoping for a great deal more of what's to come.
- I want many things to be explored where these two are concerned, because they are brillant. I want to see the inadequacies that Simon has with his future!self explored, I want to see so much more emotional death going on, and I want to actually see how these two really get together. Yeah, I want a lot, I know.
- I LOVE THEM. THEY SHOULD BE TOGETHER. THEY REALLY SHOULD. ♥
- Damnit, Peter! I can't help but be a bit infuriated with you for not knowing (even though you can't have known - no one - could have known) and for hurting Olivia so much. SHE HALLUCINATED YOU! This. And the fact that I've wanted these two since practically the second episode of the first season.
- ♥ And I only had to wait seven years for this one, BUT CUDDY LOVES HIM. And she showed up in his apartment at the end of S6 and this time IT WASN'T A HALLUCINATION. They are so MFEO. ♥
television in 2010.
So, apparently I watched A LOT of tv this year. This does not suprise me in the least. lol. Mainly, I did a lot of re-watch/marathoning old favorite shows of mine like, LnC: TNAOS where I kind of re-discovered my love for Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain's version of Clark and Lois. I had almost forgotten how beautiful and romantic those two were. Also marathoned/re-watched all fifteen seasons of my beloved E.R., BtVS all seasons including S7 TWICE - yes, I did this - Angel all seasons, and another one of my favorite shows of all time The Gaurdian with Simon Baker. I swear at the end of the day, Nick Fallon will always go down in the books as one of my v. favorite characters EVER to exist in a world of character's I've watched for years. And I've watched a lot of character's. A LOT. True facts.
♥001.♥ Skins, preferrably the second generation's Series 3&4 with Effy and Freddie and Cook. Gah, they were all so frakked up, but they were beautiful when they shined. lol. THEY HAD THEIR MOMENTS.
I loved Effy like mad and of course shipped her with Freddie AND Cook with Freddie and Freddie with Effy and Cook. Shit, I shipped them all. So unpredictable I am sometimes. But, really it wasn't until AFTER I had finished marathoning the series, that I started to notice the massive amount of potential that was Cook/Effy's awesome. I mean, HE WAS CONSTANT - HE WAS ALWAYS THERE, and he always loved her even when she didn't deserve it. HE LOVED HER. And it always came back around to the two of them.
Cook: It's you and me babe. It's always gunna be you and me. It's always you and me.
Anim by:
tokiohotelsucks Cook knew her better than Freddie, got her in a way that he couldn't. Freddie loved her. But, Cook knew her. That's something. I think maybe it says more than just loving someone. It's ... I just... aljfdalfjd, really! It's that classic story of one girl being loved by everybody and one boy loved by nobody, except EFFY DID LOVE HIM. The series did a good job of making it look like her love for him was second best, but I honestly don't think it was now that I re-evaluate my original thoughts on it.
It can't have been, when these two keep coming back around to each other and one gets the other in a way that nobody else really could. Don't get me wrong, I love Freds and I love Freddie&Effy BUT I love Cook and Effy, too. A LOT. ♥
IDK, maybe I'm just a glutton for those types of storyline's wherein the girl is always loved and no one ever really loves the boy except they do sfm and they don't know what to do with that love. I did this with Spike and Buffy and Dan and Karen and I'm doing it now with Cook and Effy and Damon and Elena.
Oh Cook, you really SHOULD HAVE BEEN on this list, but you made it here by way of Effy and for now I'm okay with that.
Katie Fitch: I'm Katie fucking Fitch!
Best.Scene.Ever! Really, must I define the ways in which I loved Katie, especially in Series 4!? It's seriously self-explanatory.
♥002.♥ Misfits. If you aren't watching THIS then you should DO IT NOW! What didn't I love about this show?! Srsly. It's superpowers, a band of misfits that wouldn't have probably been friends otherwise, a few dead probation worker's, a bunch of wanking and taking the piss, and a whole lot of awesome packed into one show. And then, sometimes I wish it would learn to draw the line where Nathan is concerned (as much as I love the wanker and I do) I was less than impressed with him in the Christmas special. There is a line and he stepped over it. I just...No. No, Nathan. That IS NOT OKAY, okay!
Iwan Rheon! (Obviously my Spring Awakening love knows no bounds!) ALDKJFALFJDK!
Future!Simon came back from the future to tell Alisha that they would be together and present!Simon was just effing amazing in all of his creepy creepiness. Out of all their superpowers combined, I think I'd want to have Simon's. Being invisible could be a little bit of fun, yeah. He thought they'd use their powers for good. lol.
the year in films.
the honorables.
despicable me. ♥ adam. ♥ tangled. ♥ boy a. ♥ let me in. ♥ eclipse. kick-ass. ♥ toy story 3.
♥001.♥ Harry Potter: And the Deathly Hallows Part 1 equals my FAVORITE movie I've seen this year. I love these movies in the way that most people who've read this series of books loves them and -THAT IS SAYING A LOT - in terms of this fandom. For once, I didn't haven't rushed to read the books BEFORE I saw the movies because I didn't want it to take anything away from my enjoyment of them like it usually does when I've read a book before I've seen a movie or series of movies based off said books. I think that's partly why these movies are SO FREAKING EPIC for me, personally.
I cannot freaking sentence properly, when I talk about this movie which is why I haven't really all that much. I ... it, just really...aljdfaldjfdalkjdf! Beautiful - EVERYTHING - about this movie. And I think the thing that killed me the most, was the loss of Hedgwig and Dobby. Seriously, his death had me bawling hardcore and coming on the heels of such an amazing speech about how he's a free elf and he's saving Harry Potter, too. And then Harry giving him a proper burial with no magic.
And don't even let me get started on Harry and Hermione, because my heart will surely break and disintegrate into small ashes. But, that dance even if it wasn't in the books, was brillantly placed in the movie and I loved it for everything it was and wasn't dressed up to be. It's all in the eyes of the movie go'er or the shipper.

♥002.♥ To Save A Life, was also another favorite of mine if not for the message that it was sending and the subject that it dealt with. I fell in love with the character's, especially the main one, the actors, and basically the whole story itself. In a world full of lonliness, alienation, and so much hate - this was definitely a breath of fresh air if not for awareness sake.

Trailer for To Save A Life.
♥003.♥Remember Me, showed me exactly why I really do enjoy Robert Pattinson and think he's a phenomenally gifted and incredibly talented (at not sparkling so much..ha!) actor. Really, the chemistry displayed between his and Emile de Ravin's character Allie was superbly amazing to watch. Their story had so much emotional depth and not just their story as a couple, but their individual stories as well.
Watching Tyler go through everything that he went through, the changes, the way that he perceived the world around him, the mistakes that were made, the things that were lost, the complications that were tried in vain to be pack into perspective, his relationship with his sister (who is probably the ONLY person who really loved him unconditionally no judgments made), his strained relationship with his father, and trying to deal with his brother's suicide was one of the most beautiful and telling stories I think I might have watched this year. Really, this should be further up on my list, but they say you save the best for last and everything's better in three's right?!
But really, if you haven't watched this movie, then you really should give it a try. If not for the pretty actors, but for the very story that it tells. Please watch it for this character, I'm seriously not above begging. SERIOUSLY.
It was hard and painful to watch as it should have been given the story being told, but it was also beautiful. Tyler and Allie have definitely become one of my favorite ships that I obsessed over a great deal. Loads, really. And I have to admit that I did enjoy all of those behind-the-scenes, on-set, etc. pics of Rob and Emilie hangin' about. They really do look adorable together. Shut-up, you know they do too! lol.

Tyler Routh: Ghandi once said that whatever you do in life will be insignificant but it is very important that you do it...I tend to agree with the first part. Whatever you do in life will be insignificant but it is very important that you do it because, you can't know...you can never really know the meaning of your life and you don't need to. Just know that your life has meaning. Every life has a meaning, whether it lasts one hundred years or one. And every death, changes the world in its own way.
favorite albums of 2010.
I love music lots and lots, so I'm sharing with because I can and because these songs are amazingly kick-ass. So download and listen, while I'm over here still trying to figure out how a Taylor Swift album made it onto my list of albums of the year. Wow. These are the artists and songs that made my year a lot better when I needed to just turn the music up and feel it.
.rar books i read in 2010.
Obviously these aren't all of the books that I read this year, but they are some of my favorites. Notice a certain genre or pattern here?! lol. Obviously, Clockwork Angel and Spirit Bound are my favorites out of the eight for their own reasons. I love immersing myself in the Underworld that Cassandra Claire has created and I can't wait til' later this year (2011) when the next book in the Mortal Instruments series is released. I need moar of this story, now please. Although, I can't say that I'm actually not quite as anxious to finish the Vampire Academy series and have it on perfect authority that my own personal canon will probably end with Spirit Bound as I was hoping that Richelle Meade would have dared to be a little more bold and a little less obvious. That's all I'll say about that, because if you haven't read the series or the book then I don't want to spoil for it.
And thus was my year in fandom, lots of new things discovered, lots of things to obsess and flail over, some minor things to be disappointed in and we won't even begin to get into how Torchwood, saying goodbye to the Tenth Doctor, and Lost has traumatized me. (There will FOREVER BE a Ben-ry shaped whole in my heart. Sadness.) Basically a pretty fun year in fandom, all in all. See ya next, year! Maybe I'll even actually get post made BEFORE the next New Year. lol.
PLEASE DO NOT REPOST, EDIT OR HOTLINK! DO NOT REPOST ON FANPOP!
DO NOT REPOST ANY PART OF THIS TO TUMBLR!
I worked extra hard on coloring and making these pretty picturess pretty. I'd hate to have to cut a bitch! I'm just sayin'. ♥ And also, I don't know who made the Finn&Rachel gif used, but if you do know please let me know so I can credit properly. :)
