Tracey had failed her Transfiguration test so hard, she couldn't even think clearly. She was steaming- if she got any angrier, it was possible that something would catch on fire. No, more like probable.
She tried to control herself as she hurried as far away from that classroom as she could, the table that she'd been told to turn into a bed of flowers turning into a pile of purple goo over and over again in her mind.
What the hell was wrong with her these days? She couldn't get anything right!
Just as she thought that, she bumped into someone, and the books she'd been hugging close to her chest scattered in various directions. No apology came from the offender- he ran away quickly, pretending she was not on the ground, picking up the papers that had flown everywhere.
And suddenly, she was alone in the corridor, trying to keep herself from crying.
She gave up and sat down amidst the papers and books and sighed heavily, closing her eyes tightly to try and block out the anger, humiliation, and frustration she felt.
Having another outburst wasn't going to get her any where.
She put herself on the moon again, not giving a damn that she was in the middle of the corridor.
