poem for my mom

plant your feet and hold steady
cause when life comes hard you will be ready
find the little things that make you happy
hold them close even if it's sappy
true love is out there just you wait
God has a plan for you that includes the apple you ate
so keep your feet planted
and hold a steady course
for as surely as the sun rises
it shall set no more.
