Live, journal!

I should be writing my PoliSci essay... 7 pages on the Canadian Healthcare system due Wednesday, that I haven't started.
I should be studying for Astronomy, the exam is tomorrow, and I've barely looked at it.
Ditto history, but switch Tuesday for Wednesday.
However,
I just don't want to.

Listening to Cradle of Filth is not helping me get my work done.
It is, however, helping me love life.
So which is more important?

It is now November, which means I have been here for over 2 months.
I. Effing. Love it.

There has been no point where I haven't loved it here.
The difference between university and high school blows my mind all the time... I can barely remember what Sinclair was like except that it had NOTHING on the extreme awesomeness that is Western.

Commencement is damn soon and I am damn excited to go home and have my mommy make me tacos.
And to get my hair dyed... for those of you who aren't aware, I have bright orange hair.
Because orange kicks ass, but is not a good colour to commence in.

I'm also excited for Christine's birthday, and that someone from my new life here (aka Tyler-who-is-a-massive-cocksucker) will see a bit of my old life back home... it's just kinda cool.

I've started compiling a Christmas list. I'm doing things a bit differently this year so that I will actually get what I want.
aka Books.
So, so many books.
Another awesome thing about here: I'm surrounded by so many other English nerds < 3

Also, anyone reading this should go to youtube right now and search for me, Tyler, and Becca's newest love:  REPO! The Genetic Opera..

This week I've learned a few things, the saddest being that choclate makes me very, very sick.
Like cheese-and-ice-cream sick. :(
That happiest is that I have discovered a way to balance school, friends, and reading that has me pretty okay. Minus all the work I've yet to do for the week. And oh god I haven't done my readings in a while.... aka by "balance" I mean I suck and need to do super-duper catching up but I'm happy despite that.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I really, really love opera music.
Is that wrong?
One day I'll actually download DC++ like I keep meaning to.
But not today.
Today / actually tonight, I will write a damn good paper for PoliSci.
And then I will go to bed.
(it's amazing how easy it is to get used to hard beds, dirty bathrooms, and ish food when everything else rocks so very very hard)
