(no subject)
Hey guys, I just got home yesterday. We now have power and running water. I had evacuated to Alexandria and that is currently where the rest of my New Orleans family is. There wasn't too much damage over here. We spent the afternoon cleaning up the yard. We still have two fallen trees sitting there but at least all the crap is picked up now. We have to get a part of our roof repaired and our chimneys too but besides that everything is fine. I feel extremely fortunate.
I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing about school yet. I miss everyone. Please call my house: 985-651-5728. You'll be able to get through to my house but I can't call out to any 504 numbers because of all the messed up cell phone shit. Also, if anyone is relatively close (Baton Rouge) please please come over if you can. My parents won't allow me to leave the house for awhile because it's "not safe" but we welcome visitors. I am LaPlace exit 206. I promise I will entertain you.
I have heard from most of you or at least heard that others are safe. The only people I haven't heard from or about are Emily, Gianni, Katie, or Ian. If any of you have heard from them or if one of you is reading this, let me know they are okay.
