It's been a while...
Hello LJ world! How've ya been??
I've been busy!!! I don't remember my last post.
So, what's new?? Let's see...
Stephanie will be THREE this December!!! STOP GROWING UP SO FAST!!! She's so cute with that toothy little grin!! It's so much fun listening to her little belly laugh as she plays with her brother and sister.
Roland is 12 already and starting his second year of middle school. He's already acting like a 16 year old know it all too. VERY FRUSTRATING!! Throughout all of that though, his heart seems to be in the right place. We went to the Vancouver Zoo a couple of weeks ago and when Roland accidentally bumped into a kid, he stopped to ensure the kid was OK before moving on. That was excellent.
It's hard to believe Caitlin is 10. She's grown up soo much in just a couple of years already! It's interesting to see how much more she's grown socially than Roland has. It always seems like there's a friend of hers wanting to see her.
I'm proud of all three of them!!
In work news, I decided a while ago that I was going to add class 3 to my licence. $1300 and 5 weeks later, I succeeded in getting my class 3. A funny note: while I was doing my pre-trip exam, I bent over the rear dually to check the springs/etc. for damage, breaking wind in such a horrifically violent fashion that I was certain I'd blown a hole in my shorts!! I looked at my examiner, who just HAD to be a very good looking young lady, only to find her so doubled over in laughter that she could barely keep her balance!! It's a good thing she had a great sense of humour!
Shortly after upgrading my licence, the Coquitlam School Board cut all the big bus school routes. Then the teachers went on strike.
So... Almost seven weeks ago, I quit working for First Student. Took a week off and drove my family up to my in-law's cabin in the mountains. Came back to start a new career with Waste Management, where I've been for just shy of six weeks. Took a $13.00 pay raise to do it, too..
I wonder why I didn't do this sooner??
When I remember how to post pics, I'll add some of the kids!
