Well I thoroughly enjoyed all my shows this week (and by "this week" I mean "yesterday" because that's when everything airs, ugh), it's nice when that happens.

It's not quite up there for me yet, and I didn't like the premiere all that much, but the other three episodes, particularly last week's, I've enjoyed a fair amount. It reminds me about of s7 which is what I was hoping for -- I thought s7 had been their strongest in a long time, because with writing out Michael they had something to aim for. Now they have to wrap up everyone's stories, and I think that kind of direction really helps them.

I think that's why the show kind of went off the rails at some point. Like s1-s4 were all about getting Jim and Pam together, but once Jim and Pam were together the show had no real purpose again until they had to write Michael out. Then he left, and again the show floundered pointlessly. Now that they have to wrap it up for everyone, it's looking in better shape. I feel like plotlines will actually go somewhere -- Jim and Pam's, and Dwight's, even Nellie I assume will have a child by the end of the season.

To this episode specifically, I go back and forth on Erin too. I think Andy/Erin started off cute but became insufferable sometime in its, like, 3rd season of shenanigans, so I haven't liked Erin a lot lately because so much of it has been tied in with Andy/Erin. But she was sweet here, and I really liked her stuff with Nellie.
