rn is the first time my fictional ship might be banging irl and tbh I don't know what I feel about it

I am pretty dramatic and emotional about my ships so I won't lie that part of me is bewitched body & soul by the idea that my favorite characters are ~together irl

BUT I draw the line at rpf, it always makes me super uncomfortable.

I can understand why people like rpf and I am not sitting on a cloud of judgment with them, because I think most of the time actors or whoever can become like characters/objects to people, and the actor in the rpf isn't the "real" actor, but I've always felt weird and dumb reading rpf, I can never get into it.

Lirl yeah. Once I stumbled upon a John Krasinski/Jenna Fischer one (it was labeled badly) and omg I was so horrified that I couldn't find the back button for a second. And then another time I saw a summary for a John/Jenna rpf fic involving a love triangle with Rashida Jones. Oh how I laughed.

I don't think it has ever happened to me that I am aware of, I think I would mostly find it awkward, I would be worried (if it was a TV show anyway) that they'd break up and then everything would be terrible, or even that them getting together would kill the chemistry.

RPF freaks me out in every way.

I wouldn't worry about it killing the chemistry, if the chemistry is there in the first place my experience is that it doesn't change or suddenly go away or w/e Joey Tribbiani says.
