WHAT:
Below are five premises/themes/plot bunnies/whatever you want to call them. If you'd like to play (you don't need to sign up or anything), write at least one fic (drabbles and ficlets acceptable) based on at least one of the premises. Having more than one premise in the same fic is awesome, and you can also, of course, use other elements.
THE FIVE PREMISES:
Switch. One of the contestants that is generally thought of as bottomy or quiet, like Judd, Anthony, Anwar, John Stevens IV, Carrie, Janay, whoever, tops or at least makes the moves on someone who's generally thought of as toppy/dominant like Con, Bo, Josh Gracin, Nadia, Amy Adams...
Rough sex. Not rape, but maybe angry sex, or leather & light BDSM, spanking or hot wax or master/slave control games, or just plain quick, hot & dirty...
Group sex (at least 3 people at one time). Possibly starting out with some dirty dancing or a game of Truth or Dare or just general sex talk...
Voyeurs. Someone(s) sees/hears someone(s) making out/having sex/masturbating. Maybe they join in, maybe they find someone else to make out with...
Education. One contestant has no sexual experience with the same gender, maybe no experience period. Another contestant teaches him/her the ropes.
WHY:
The idea is to see how different people come up with different stories based on the same fairly broad premise. For example, b00kwyrm and I have both written stories with a voyeuristic theme. In hers, Scott saw Bo and Constantine having sex; in mine, Anthony and Constantine heard Bo and Judd having sex. The outcomes were very different, but both were good stories.
WHEN:
No deadlines, no commitments! Start writing whichever one(s) you want, as many fics as you want, whichever of the five premises you want with whatever other elements you want, and post whenever you've got one to post. When you post, it would be cool to mention the challenge. You can also email us at our LJ address and give us the URL, because eventually we'll put up a post linking all the challenge stories.
Bonus points for working any of these other ideas into your story:
Styling problems. A hair or makeup stylist does something to one of the contestant's hair or face that he or she really hates, goes into the restroom to try to fix it (maybe trying to wash hair in the sink or the like), when another contestant comes in and tries to help, taking the opportunity to get their hands on the first contestant in any way possible.
Missing Lube. Where's the lube going and who's taking it?!
Femmeslash NC-17 or at least hard R, with below-the-waist action and no candles or bathtubs (because those two elements are so overdone)
Competition, of whatever sort. Who is the better chess player/rocker/dancer/burper, who can drink more/do more situps...
Interseason Pairings, at least 1 Season 4 contestant. Other country's Idols okay, too. BUT preferably not Clay (because this is supposed to be CHALLENGING!) and no hosts/judges/anyone else.
An example of combining several premises:
The two of us are writing a fic together that has Nadia talking to Carrie about sex, including a lot of things Carrie didn't know. That would be EDUCATION, plus bonus points for Femme. Now, say, if they happen to be walking through the hotel and they hear Judd and Bo having sex and they stop to listen, there's the VOYEUR part. If later on Amy Adams stops by and Carrie gives her and Nadia spankings, that's GROUP, ROUGH, and SWITCH, plus Interseason. Et voila, all five premises plus two secondary elements in one fic!
