It's great being in third year, you automatically gain respect from the teachers compared to last year. And the headmistress is very kind to me, I like her a lot.

She does seem rather easy to get along with, but I'm sure it helps that you're much more pleasant to talk to than most other students.

And being a third year is a great deal better than first or second. You get a better selection with your courses, and the material is finally something worth paying attention to, in some cases.

What electives have you chosen?

I decided against Care of Magical Creatures (have you seen the oaf trying to teach?) and I'm taking Arithmancy, Ancient Runes and Divination. I don't believe that Muggle studies counts as a subject, more a course in some kind of creature again.

I'm already looking forward to fourth year though!

Blaise and I both took Ancient Runes and Arithmancy, although I'm not continuing in either subject this year. Not bad subjects overall, and you're correct, the Professors are much more knowledgable for those subjects than the others.

Fourth year was my one of my favorite years.
