So...I want to sign up for a big bang (
hawaii-bigbang to be specific). I've never done one before. In fact, I've only ever done one challenge/exchange type thing before. Ever. This big bang is only 10,000 words minimum, as opposed to 40,000 or 50,000, and I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it's a 10k words idea. I've actually already started it (lets not talk about just how many WIPs I have in my WIP folder (because it's more than 20 in my H50 folder alone)), but that doesn't mean I can finish it. Also, I'm terrible at plots. There's a reason I only write scene-type oneshots.
I guess: challenge myself? Or no?
Unrelated, but I'm still bruised from having blood drawn a week and a half ago. I've also developed a calcium deposit because of that. Ugh. Note to the world: if you can, avoid having a med student learning how to draw blood draw it from an unusual place (forearm instead of elbow) with a different sized needle than they're used to. It doesn't end well for you.
