1. People who imitate people from bands...Davey Havok in particular. Like mimic him completely, right down to his pale makeup, vinyl pants, and his habit of avoiding the sun (by using umbrellas, sunblock, and other shit), girl or guy. Yeah...WTF? How hard is it to be yourself? Pretty scary concept, I know.
2. Pit tickets at "concerts." It's stupid...kind of pisses me off. All tickets should be sold as "general admission." First come, first serve...whoever lines up outside the longest gets the best spot, or at least gets to pick where they want to be if they have to be in a room with 324571532157 other people (no joke). That...or shitty seats in the very back must be sold cheaper than pit tickets.
3. People who try too hard to be stereotypical, like project some kind of image (i.e. so-and-so is an AFI fan, so so-and-so must be sXe, and have an interest in only Davey Havok, AFI, animal rights, tatoos, pleather, vinyl, vegetarianism, and anything else Davey Havok might like and must dislike everything he dislikes. Hahaha...oh yeah, you're hardcore now.)...if that made any sense.
4. People who say they hate MTV but like all of MTV bands-of-the-moment nobody will admit to liking to in the next 5 years...WTF? Little sheep, hating MTV and Bush only because it's trendy to do so?
5. People who rag on MTV for playing rap...but what about GC? GC = MTV posterboys...are they not?
6. Straight-edge as a fad, label/stereotype. Yeah, you know, where it comes with its own little wardrobe, hairstyle, and elitist fuck attitude.
More...when I feel like it...
(And yes, I am aware of the time.)
