Why "Boston Legal" rocks... i mean besides an old William Shatner?

so i was watching "Boston Legal" (i love it) and heard something interesting...
"I just caught Tara laughing with another man"
"Laughing? Are you sure they weren't just kissing or something?"
When i first heard it, i thought what a stupid line. But you know what? It's kind of true. Sure, laughing isn't as obvious as kissing, but laughing is surprisingly intimate. Yes, sometimes television is truth; the guy who makes me laugh very often steals my heart.
Anyone agree?
