saturday nite's alright for fighting
today was okay. nothing to complain about really. only thing is fernando and i didn't go to that logic vs. romance show, but that was cuz i was pressed for time. oh well. i wanna go see quick and the dead's last show in san jo on the 26th. if gully and i do, that'll be three shows in one weekend (atreyu/unearth/norma jean on the 24th, QATD on the 26th, and TASTE OF CHAOS on the 28th). that'd be awesome. i'ma pimp slap that biatch into goin to that QATD show. it'll be great.
vicky had her baby shower today. i didn't really go, but apparently everyone had fun. my mom was there, and yeah. everyone liked her, so that's good. i'm marrying into that family, so it's good that she liked them and they liked her.
didn't do much of anything today. drove mostly. went to see gully at work. just chilled with him and watched him get more and more pissed at his manager. all i'm gonna say is that tree and him really need to sit down and talk things out. i love them both, and i just want to see them both happy.
he and i also practiced, kinda. i say kinda cuz all we did was play our hopesfall cover, and then preceded to go apeshit. i was feeling very good behind my drums, so i just started doing a drum solo type part. fernando caught on, and we both just started going crazy. it was epic, to overuse a word. it was very cathartic. after that, we (sam, gully and i) went back to his house and watched the clerks animated series dvd. love that shit!!
i'm gonna try and get my sunglasses fixed tomorrow. i've been without them for a week and a half. i broke part of the hinge, so i'm gonna take it and see if it is repairable. i hope so!!! i love those sunglasses! i've had them for over 5 years, and i will be heartbroken if i have to get rid of them. they are my last memento from working at great america.
last thing. sam and i went to walmart, aka the dirtmall, after leaving gully's, and she found $100 bill on the ground!!! soooo fuckin great!! she let me have $40, so i'ma buy me the new killswitch engage cd and the david cross cd tomorrow, as well as a case for my cell phone. i love my girlfriend! she spoils me! =)
