i have $50 in penny rolls...
today was a decent sunday. picked up sam and went and got pizza for lunch. heh, she put gel in my hair and gave me a faux-hawk. rolled the last $20 in pennies, to put me at $50. then i took her over to lainey's so lainey could bleach and dye sam's hair for her. i left at 6:45 to go chill with gully at his house. watched some bands on his hellfest dvd, then went to my house for dinner. went and jammed a bit, and listened to music. after he dropped me at my car, i picked up sam and we went to the dirtmall (walmart) for a few things. now i be chillin in my room.
sundays haven't been the same for me since i got let go from mission pizza. i loved working on sundays. i would start at 2 and be by myself for 2 hours before my boss marc would show up. we would generally have a slow night, and close up at 9. then i would give him a ride to his apartment, and in return, he would burn some weed with me, and we'd usually watch a movie or something. that seems like a lifetime ago, but it was only about 14 months ago. sundays feel much more empty now, but i try to keep myself busy with sam and the band to forget those feelings. i don't miss the weed so much as the hanging out time i had. that's really what i miss about working at mission pizza. i loved the work, the people, and how much freetime i had. office depot is great for the money, and i've met some cool people, but they don't live the life that i do. at mission pizza, my bosses were livin the same life i was, as a musician. i really miss that camaraderie. but, if i didn't have office depot, i wouldn't be able to support myself, be sober, and have my beautiful honda element. no fuckin way. it's been over a year since i got let go, but i still really miss it. strange, huh?
well, enough of that. i love having money to do what i want. like being able to go see tree. sam, gully and i are planning on doing that march 4-6. i think it will be really awesome, cuz we're plannin on goin to hollywood and seein the sites. i've never seen that shit before, so i want to be all trendy tourist and see it all. that will be fun for the four of us. i can't fuckin wait for this to happen. it will be a truly great weekend. well, my hair is screaming wash me, so i'm gonna go hit up the shower. nite all.
