new beginnings
so if you don't know, i got a new job. it's at a tech-y type place in sunnyvale called telenav. they work with the major cell phone carriers and help out their customers with downloading gps navigation software, called telenav, onto their phones. they also assist customers with any troubleshooting and installation. i will be a call center representative, i.e., a phone jockey, answering phone calls and helping out random jerks. it will probably be stressful at times, but at least it will be really good for my body, since i won't be physically doing anything except sitting on my ass in a cubicle (i think). no more physically draining job means i can start going to the gym again and working out. i really need to get on that. anyway, i start on monday, may 21st. i'm super excited! 2 weeks of training from 8am-5pm (god, i'm dreading driving there and back... commuting on hwy 237 sucks balls) and then i start my regular shift, which will be graveyard and hopefully 11pm-7am. crazy huh? but, seeing as i am a night owl, and have been taking night classes at ohlone, i believe working at night will agree with me much more. at least, i certainly hope so. finally, a full-time job that will give me benefits after 90 days with the company. $15 an hour! so excited! i hope it works out for me...
i think that i am finally ready to tackle another big hurdle too. more on that later.
