Meh!
My mom's been went to have her biopsy yesterday (for those those who dont already kno, she's been having trouble with her throat for sometime so they've done a biopsy to find out what the cause is), which went fine, but its the aftermath thats bothering me. First of all, she has to have 2 weeks COMPLETE voice rest, she cannot talk at ALL, otherwise she risks severe - and permenant - speech defect. So that isnt great for her, unable to fully articulate one's feelings and concerns is 1 thing, but to be unable to communicate at all is another thing. Its uncomfortable, difficult and downright fustrating for her, and i feel bad because there isnt ne thing i can do about that. All i can do - i guess - is be there for her, make it as easy and as comfortable as possible. I kno this may seem petty, but just imagine not being able to talk 2 ne 1 for 2 whole weeks. No chatting on the phone, no having ur friends round for a talk, no going out (unless with somebody or a series of notepads lol). She has to write everything down, which again, is frustrating. Also, the other big thing that is bothering me is that we dont even kno what this root cause is, and me being the hypochondriach that i am, i've jumped straight to the conclusion that its something cancerious (considering shes smoked for what? 30 odd years, it seems to be the obvious thing), and if it was...well..i dont kno how id react, id be very distraught. But i kno im jumping the gun so 2 speak, and that i shud just think positively, whatever it is, we (the family) r all just gonna hav to deal with it. hey ho!
Watched Constantine last nite, thought it was brilliant! Been told to go watch Batman Begins because apparently its 1 of the films of the year (its THAT good im told!), so think im gonna do that soon hopefully. Looking forward to going down to cheltenham spa tomorrow to spend a weeks with bexs :D We r gonna hav fun! Btw, i AM going to stop u smoking, u dont hav a choice :P Chris, u shud be ashamed of urself for leaving her money for ciggarettes :P
I'm sure my kidney is fucked. I've been having sharp pains from that area all day, cant think what i've done to it, some1 suggested it might be cramp..but i dont kno!
