Well, I survived my two exam yesterday.
American History Questions were:
- What were the political principles invoked to justify rebellion against the British before and during the American Revolution? Or something like that. This question went ok but I rambled a little bit about taxation without representation, the Boston Tea Party, 7 years war etc etc.
- Why did the Confederacy fail to win independence? This was a good question for me because I have Civil War knowledge stock up in my brain. So yay.
- Why did the United States intervene in Vietnam? By this time I was getting a little bored haha. This answer could have been better but ya know.
Medieval Questions were:
- Was the influence of Westerners on the Byzantine Empire purely negative? Crap.
- How applicable is the term "crisis" to describe the early 14th century situation in Europe? Crap and short.
- To what extent did the Church overestimate the strength of Catharism. A liiitle bit better.
So yeah, that was 6 essays in 6 hours. I was so tired yesterday and I slept in a crazy amount today. CRAZY.
I hear Mr Muzz is playing Seppi tonight. Might try and find a stream. Come on Manders.
How good was Doctor Who the other night BY THE WAY! Scary as hale.
Also, Supernatural was brilliant too.
I got to watch the 3rd episode of the Tudors last night. Eeeeep. Exciting times. Anne of Cleves is so sweet. Stupid king. Damn you history!
So I'm still in a bit of shell shock after those exams and as a result I can't really think of anything else to say.
I'm going to hunt for bras tomorrow - nice ones. And also I want to get myself some boots/nice shoes. That's my reward. I've also decided it's time to fight the flab. So I'm going to be drinking fresh orange juice instead of diet coke, eating less chocolate, eating more healithly in general and I'm going to try and do more exercise - even if it's crazy dancing in the flat or something.
AYE.
