Hello folks!
Stressful times at the moment - lots of work to do but I'm not letting it get me down.
Thursday night Alistair was an amazing boyfriend and made me tea so I didn't have to worry about it - I had lots of work that evening. He also made tea for the twin too. Aww. Then we went up to the shop - bought chocolate and watched AD.
Yesterday was really fun. I had a workshop on Joan of Arc in the morning and then a tutorial on Malcolm X (who I find absolutely fascinating.) Then twin, Mary and I went to MaccyDs for lunch, went round some shops and then headed to the cinema to see Alice in Wonderland. I thought it was gorgeous. I was a bit worried that it was going to be overly bizzare etc. It was bizzare but the moment it started I was like - I like this film, I like it alot. Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and the girl who played Alice were all great and there were so many familiar voices - Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, Barbra Windsor, Martin Sheen and an amazing supporting cast - Tim Piggot Smith, Lindsey Duncan and Martin Csokas who played Alice's father - he has a beautiful old school movie star voice. So yes, I really enjoyed it, Johnny Depp was fabulous, hehe.
Journals to do today. Can't decided which one to do - progressivism or the cold war. Hmm.
