Setting: The cottage
Character: Elizabeth, NPC Jesse (open to Dex and Jones family)
Summary: Jesse's first Christmas with the Clearwaters.
Jesse was a quiet kid, always had been. Liz knew that for fact since she had been his babysitter for a while before Jesse's mother simply didn't come back to get him. The Ministry had sent him to a foster home, then the orphanage but all Along Elizabeth couldn't keep the sweet little boy out of her head.
After her miscarriage, Elizabeth had become slightly depressed and didn't quite know what to do anymore. But when Artie came to her saying that Jesse biological mother wouldn't come back, she knew she had to do something.
Dex had been very happy with his wife's proposition, and to tell the truth Elizabeth had sensed that Dex probably had had the same idea.. to adopt Jesse and raise him as their own.
So they did. And they fought hard for it. For months the Clearwaters had filled paperworks and met an army of people before they could bring him home.
Elizabeth smiled fondly as she watched him play. Her son. Their son.
They had started to check for a loan so they could build a house, but so far they just couldn't afford one. So instead they had an extention made on the cottage. For Jesse, they needed a bedroom, so they built one.
The cottage was still small, but at least they had a home.
Elizabeth was brought out of her daze when Jesse approached her asking to go to the bathroom..
