Jamie was hiding. He had been forced to spend the afternoon with his Father's current wife and his new baby half-sister and he couldn't be any more miserable. He had ducked into Flourish and Blotts quickly, keeping an eye on the door incase she came in looking for him.
Autumn looked around Flourish and Bloots. She wasn't sure what she wanted to read, romance or mystery? As she pondered this she realized there was boy in her way. "Excuse me." She said.
"Well then standing in plain sight isn't such a brilliant plan, is it?" Autumn asked him, "No wonder you're not a Ravenclaw." She shook her head at him.
"Okay." Autumn said in disbelief. "I'd hide in the back if I were you." She told him. She walked down the aisle and then looked back at him. "But if you want to get caught, by all means stay there."
"Why?" Autumn asked; she never had a mother. She wasn't sure who hers was exactly, she didn't care much either. Whoever she was, she didn't want anything to do with Autumn.
Autumn smiled. "Well that's the traditional parent, isn't it?" Autumn picked up another book and read the synopsis of the book, "Annoying, over-protective, lame."

"Is she an evil step mother?" Autumn smirked.
