This mask event is a benefit master class dedicated to the memory of Jared Nathan, class of 2004 Walnut Hill School. A minimum $20 financial gift (tax deductible) to the Walnut Hill School Jared Nathan Fund is requested to take part in this exuberant celebration of Jared’s life.

Mask work is a direct and fun pathway to an intimate connection with the body and one’s imagination. Mask work helps to reawaken a sense of irreverent play, intuition and freedom of expression. This work is for anyone who wants to awaken his or her creativity, imagination and self-expression.

Naomi Bailis is a professional actor, director and teacher. Naomi is currently on the Theatre faculty at Walnut Hill School (Natick, MA), a private high school conservatory devoted to the arts. She has taught Acting on the faculties of University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Xavier University (Acting and Directing Faculty), University of Cincinnati (Clermont) and the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She has also taught Acting at the Southwick Studio in Boston, MA and conducts a yearly Mask Master class at the Boston Conservatory. As an actor she has worked on Broadway, in regional theatre and acted in three films. She has directed for professional, college and high school stages.

The BCA is easily accessible by public transportation.

MBTA Orange Line to Back Bay Station: Take the Clarendon Street exit and walk with traffic (Clarendon Street is one-way). Walk approximately 500 yards to Tremont Street. Take a left onto Tremont Street. The BCA is on the first block on the left.

MBTA Green Line to Copley: Continue along Boylston Street with traffic (Boylston Street is one-way). Take a right onto Clarendon Street and walk approximately 750 yards to Tremont Street. Take a left onto Tremont Street. The BCA is on the first block on the left. MBTA Bus #43 travels along Tremont Street between Park Street Station on the MBTA Green Line and Dudley Square in Roxbury. Please ask the driver for the proper stop.

From Storrow Drive Westbound: Take the Copley exit and turn right onto Beacon Street. Take the first left onto Clarendon Street. Continue along Clarendon; at Tremont Street, turn left. The BCA is on the first block on the left.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike: Take the Copley Square exit. Turn right onto Dartmouth Street. Turn left onto Tremont Street. The BCA is on the third block on your left.

From the North:
Take 93 S to the I-90 exit, exit number 20, towards Worcester/Albany Street.
Take the Albany Street exit on the left towards South Boston.
Turn a slight right onto Albany Street.
Turn right onto E. Berkeley Street.
Turn left onto Tremont Street

From the South:
From the Southeast Expressway, take exit number 20 towards I-90.
Take the Frontage Road exit on the left towards South Station.
Turn slight right onto New Frontage Road/Frontage Road.
Turn left onto E. Berkeley Street.
Turn left onto Tremont Street.

Atelier 505 Parking Garage: Located under the Calderwood Pavilion. Enter on Warren Ave, at the rear of the facility.

Garage @ 100 Clarendon Street: With entrance on Clarendon Street between Stuart Street and Columbus Ave just before Back Bay Station. Regular evening rate: $12 after 5 pm

Open Lots on Berkeley:
There are two open parking lots on Berkeley Street at Columbus Avenue. Open until 10pm.

On-street parking is very limited in the immediate area.

Special BCA visitor parking rate: $12 All day Saturdays and Sundays
(Visit the Calderwood Pavilion Box Office to have your ticket validated.)

If you are driving and wish to find parking, we recommend you plan to arrive at the BCA 30 minutes prior to your event to allow ample time for parking. From Storrow Drive Eastbound take the Copley exit onto Clarendon Street. Continue along Clarendon; at Tremont Street, turn left. The BCA is on the first block on the left.
