LONG COUPLE OF WEEKS
So!
Woahhh... I have down time? What? This is MADness I tell you MADDDDDDDDDDDDDNEESSS!
But woah. Okay here has been life for the past couple of weeks.
The first day back (Mon/19), we had auditions for Urinetown. Tuesday I found out I had a callback. Wednesday at 6:15 ( a LONG wait) I found out I was cast!!! I was so relieved and excited, it was such a fierce, and overwhelming process. I was really happy. We had rehearsal that night, and I found out I will be playing the part of Mr. McQueen, which I was totally NOT expecting. I was just happy to get in, but to get a decent sized part as a JUNIOR? I was pleased, very pleased to say the least.
So rehearsals have been going well. A little intimidating, not gonna lie, but really professional, and fun.
I also saw Company in NYC... yeh about that. I didn't hate it, but it really wasn't very good. And I love Sondheim. I mean the actors all sang and acted well, but I just totally hated the direction. Sadly it was kind of a bore. I'm upset I had to miss Showtune because of it. I heard you guys performed fantasically though!
I'm already getting pressure from my college adviser about college meetings, and making a list. It's really quite scary. Next year I'm graduating. Crazy.
Well that's pretty much it. I will post dates for Urinetown and such later , and HOPE you all can see it.
