shit, i gotta go finish up this last subject in school next week...after that, i can get my transcript and send off my application to AIA! i got my essay done and all that shit! i'm so excited, i hope i get in son!
Two reasons that I should be admitted to the Arts Institute are my drive and determination. I was always taught by my mother to be successful in life, and truthfully I can't do that without furthering my education. My life hasn't been a cakewalk by a long shot, along with having vaccine induced polio, I lost track of my goals in school for a brief time. For a while, I felt like having fun and taking it easy was more important than my education. It wasn't until I found myself at an alternative school when it hit me; it was time to get serious about school. My whole future was at stake here. I had to get serious at that point, by any means I was determined to graduate, and I did. May 27th at 6:00PM, I graduated High School, a whole year early at that. I feel like it was a milestone in my life but I'm not finished, not by any means. I feel like the only way that I can better myself and help better my situation at home is through school. I have to learn as much as I can while I'm still able. I am so determined to reach my full potential, and I see the Arts Institute as a perfect avenue to reach it on.
